Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya kontribusi yang berarti baik secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama dari kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal guru PAK dan bimbingan orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar PAK siswa. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di sekolah SMP GKPI Padang Bulan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa-siswi Kristen kelas VII yang berjumlah 61 orang. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan terdapat kontribusi yang berarti dari variabel X1 (kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal guru PAK) terhadap variabel Y (motivasi belajar PAK siswa). Terdapat kontribusi yang berarti dari variabel X2 (bimbingan orang tua) terhadap variabel Y (motivasi belajar PAK siswa). Nilai rhitung (0,553) > nilai rtabel (0,361). Nilai determinasi R2 dari perhitungan korelasi tersebut adalah 30,58%, dan dinyatakan berarti, dimana thitung> ttabel (3,51 > 1,701). Terdapat kontribusi secara bersama-sama dari variabel X1 (kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal guru PAK) dan variabel X2 (bimbingan orang tua) terhadap variabel Y (motivasi belajar PAK siswa). Dalam praktek sehari-hari penting bagi guru agama Kristen untuk memacu kemampuan komunikasi bagi kepada murid maupun sesama Guru dalam berbagai bentuk pelatihan formal maupun non formal. Demikian juga bagi orang tua untuk tetap memperhatikan bingkai kasih dalam membimbing anak-anak yang diberikan Allah kepadanya.
