Meriana Zega, Yayan Indrawan Copyright (c) 2021 Phronesis: Jurnal Teologi dan Misi https://jurnal.sttsetia.ac.id/index.php/phr/article/view/191 Mon, 27 Dec 2021 00:00:00 +0800 ANAK MANUSIA DAN HAMBA YANG MENDERITA: KEMESIASAN YESUS DALAM TEOLOGI BIBLIKA DAN IMPLIKASINYA BAGI ORANG KRISTEN DI INDONESIA PADA MASA KINI https://jurnal.sttsetia.ac.id/index.php/phr/article/view/194
The concept of the Messiah is a complex and often problematic concept for both Christians and Jews to understand. Christian often accept the concept too simplistically to the point of losing sight of the continuity of the concept with the Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament. In contrast to the Christians, the Jwes reject the concept mainly because their Messianic concept is very strong. Related to glory and power but they do not understand theat the Messiah must die even to the point of being crucified to atone for the sins of His people. Using a biblical theology approach. This article argues that the concept of the Messiah in the Bible must be fully understood in terms of the glory and suffering of the Messiah in the Bible. Bear the sin. Two the important biblical concepts for understanding both are the concept of The Son of Man and the concept of the Suffering Servant. In the deen of Jesus Christ, the glory and power of the Son of Man and the role of the Suffering Servant were simultaneously fulfilled through His humiliation on the cross and His exaltation through His resurrection from the dead. For this purpose this article first discusses concerning the Messiah in the Old Testament, the second: the Messiah and the Son of Man, the third: Son of Man and the Suffering Servan, and then concludes with a conclusion.
Suleni Suleni, David Kristanto, Eliantri Putralin, Malik Malik Copyright (c) 2021 Phronesis: Jurnal Teologi dan Misi https://jurnal.sttsetia.ac.id/index.php/phr/article/view/194 Mon, 27 Dec 2021 00:00:00 +0800 PEMAHAMAN HEDONISME KONTEMPORER BERDASARKAN STUDI TEOLOGIS DALAM ROMA 6:2 DAN GALATIA 5:19 SERTA IMPLIKASINYA BAGI ORANG KRISTEN MASA KINI https://jurnal.sttsetia.ac.id/index.php/phr/article/view/201
Searching for happiness in life is something that is always coveted by everyone, but in seeking and finding it someone needs to be guided and encouraged by the right motivation, so that the happiness obtained can be enjoyed properly, not to satisfy the desires of the flesh which ultimately makes the human being. perish with this world. As taught in the Bible that humans should always live to seek and please God, but in reality what is seen today is, there are so many people who live looking for happiness to satisfy their desires not God's desires. Then what about the life of Christians today? By using qualitative research, especially literature review, several errors were found in this concept. First, it is a mistake to equate the Church with the Kingdom of God as understood by the Roman Catholic group. Second, I strongly agree when I say that the Church is the government of Christ. It should be noted, however, that in the context of God's kingdom (note the OT and NT concepts previously discussed) God's reign includes all of creation and the universe. So that the KR group has narrowed the scope of God's government in the Kingdom of God if it only thinks that the scope of God's government is only within the scope of the church. Third, it concerns the hierarchy of salvation and the Pope as the representative of Christ, where in the context of the kingdom of God on earth, the Pope is the highest representative. Once again this view is too exaggerated and forced. Thus, it can be concluded that it is a big mistake to equate the Kingdom of God with the Church.
Adi Putra, Filmon Berek Copyright (c) 2021 Phronesis: Jurnal Teologi dan Misi https://jurnal.sttsetia.ac.id/index.php/phr/article/view/206 Mon, 27 Dec 2021 00:00:00 +0800 SATU INJIL BAGI SEGALA BUDAYA https://jurnal.sttsetia.ac.id/index.php/phr/article/view/207
This article explains the need the development of Reformed theology so that it can attract the attention of different cultured people with Guilt Culture. It turns out the gospel applies to all cultures, but theology of Reformed raises Luther's question that is looking for an answer about the basis of salvation. Even though it strongly agreed that the Bible was teaching that it was dismissed by justification through faith, but the recognition of 'Sola Fide' did not contain the overall gospel. Therefore, the meaning and impact of the gospel should be presented to a shame culture and a fear culture (Fear Culture) in more suitable to the questions and struggle that contexts. if characteristic every culture is more regularly understood, it can also read the Bible and the teachings of the gospel with 'lens' which are more in line with those cultural needs. With this the good news of the Gospel will get stronger to convince the listeners of the gospel.
Cornelis J.
