Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai budaya dalam masyarakat Baduy, khususnya konsep Huma (alam) dan Pikukuh Karuhun (aturan leluhur) sebagai titik temu dalam upaya kontekstualisasi Injil. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah, adanya ketegangan antara pewartaan Injil dengan pelestarian tradisi lokal yang sering dianggap bertentangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur dan analisis teologis-kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Huma yang menekankan harmoni dengan alam sementara Pikukuh Karuhun sebagai pedoman hidup memiliki keselarasan dengan prinsip-prinsip Alkitabiah seperti ketaatan, kesederhanaan, dan tanggung jawab terhadap ciptaan. Oleh karena itu, nilai-nilai ini dapat menjadi jembatan dalam mengkomunikasikan Injil secara kontekstual tanpa menghilangkan identitas budaya lokal. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan teologi kontekstual serta membuka ruang dialog antara iman Kristen dan budaya tradisional.

Saya Theresia Cania Putri adalah pelayan Tuhan yang aktif dalam perintisan gereja di Tangerang Selatan, khususnya melayani suku Baduy melalui pendekatan kontekstual. saya sedang menempuh studi S2 di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Injili Indonesia Yogyakarta, dengan konsentrasi studi di bidang MISI guna memperlengkapi diri secara teologis, demi menghadirkan pelayanan Injil yang relevan, holistik, dan transformasional bagi masyarakat adat.
